NVerzion Announces Hire of Digital Marketing Specialist

SALT LAKE CITY, UT— The NVerzion team expands again this year with the hiring of a new digital marketing specialist, University of Utah alumnus Colin McLeod.

Over his college years, Mr. McLeod worked his share of odd jobs, from data entry, to delivery driver, to summer camp staff, before accepting an internship with the marketing team at a law firm in Draper, Utah. In the role of Writing and Research Intern with Christensen and Hymas Personal Injury Attorneys, he received a primer in online marketing while pursuing a degree in English.

"This is the first job where I remember saying to myself 'Y’know, I can really see myself doing this as a career.' After working some of your usual college jobs, it surprised me how different I felt, so I decided to pursue this path the best I could."

As an intern at the firm, McLeod learned the basics of web marketing: copywriting, SEO, and basic web design.

In his last year at the U of U, he worked as a freelance web copywriter, writing blog posts and webpage content for marketing companies around the Salt Lake Valley.

Later he would move to Long Beach, California and began working for a small law firm, Felahy Employment Lawyers. It was here he further developed his skills as a one-man marketing team, running ad campaigns, managing social media accounts, and updating the firm's website.

McLeod now telecommutes with NVerzion from a shared office space in downtown Long Beach. "I'm very excited to accept this position, I have a lot of great ideas and I can't wait to see them in action. I have a lot to learn from the team here at NVerzion, so I hope that I prove to be an asset to this company."
